Clifton Operations Supervisor
We’re looking for a confident, people-loving, hands-on Operations Supervisor to help lead the action at our vibrant Clifton campus venue.
From busy bar shifts to events and everything in between, you’ll be at the heart of it—keeping things running smoothly, your team motivated, and our members having an unforgettable experience across the Clifton bar, diner and coffee shop.
The post holder will take the lead where required, making relevant day-to-day decisions to ensure the efficient and effective running of the venue while delivering top customer service.
As part of the Venues team and working closely with the Food and Beverage management team, you will strive to achieve best practices, including Best Bar None and other relevant schemes. Creating and developing an effective operational staff team (including student staff) delivering excellent service, fostering a positive environment and working practices.
You will actively promote the highest standard of operations, monitoring the customer experience, providing innovative solutions and improvements where appropriate.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience at a supervisory level, working in a bar or hospitality environment. You will have excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships at all levels of the organisation.
Weekend and unsociable hours are a requirement of this role. Therefore, you will need a flexible approach to work hours, depending on the organisational needs.
