Marketing & Communications Coordinator
Salary: £27,219 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (flexible, including some evenings/weekends)
Location: Across NTU campuses
About the role
We’re looking for a creative, organised and digitally‑minded person to join our Marketing, Communication & Digital team.
This role is all about helping us connect with students in a relevant, engaging and impactful way. You’ll plan and deliver marketing campaigns, create content across multiple channels, and play a key role in growing our digital presence – particularly on platforms like Instagram and TikTok.
You’ll also line manage a team of student social media staff, working with them to produce high‑quality, student‑led content that reflects what’s happening across NTSU.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys both the creative and organisational side of marketing, and wants to develop their skills in a fast‑paced, student‑focused environment.
What you’ll be doing
- Planning and delivering marketing campaigns that promote NTSU activity, services and opportunities
- Creating and overseeing content across social media, email, web and print
- Growing and engaging our digital audiences, particularly on Instagram, TikTok and emerging platforms
- Managing and supporting a team of student social media assistants, including allocating work and giving feedback
- Keeping our content organised through content calendars, campaign plans and scheduling
- Working with teams across NTSU to turn ideas into clear, engaging communications
- Monitoring performance and using insight to improve what we do
- Supporting major campaigns, events and key moments in the student calendar, including Freshers
What we’re looking for
- Someone who enjoys creating content and has experience using social media in a professional or organised setting
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail
- Confidence working with others and building positive relationships
- A genuine interest in digital trends, student audiences and how people engage with content
- An understanding of what makes content relevant, timely and engaging
